How is this different from my kid's annual checkup?

A typical well-child visit checks if your kid is sick. It runs little or no blood work and doesn't include imaging. We test 60+ markers, do a bone age X-ray, and interpret everything for where your child actually is in their development instead of comparing against adult norms.

What does the blood draw involve?

A single blood draw at a lab near you. We have 2,000+ locations nationwide. Takes about 10 minutes and your child needs to fast beforehand. We send numbing cream in the welcome kit for teens who are nervous about needles.

Is the X-ray safe?

Yes. A bone age X-ray of the hand exposes your child to less radiation than a few minutes outdoors. It's the same imaging that growth specialists order routinely. We just make it accessible without a 6-month referral wait.

How accurate is the height prediction?

It gives a range, not a single number. Typically within about 2 inches. The prediction gets more precise with each annual X-ray, so think of it as tracking where your child is headed rather than a guarantee.

Does this replace our pediatrician?

No. We're not replacing your doctor, we're giving them better information to work with. When results flag something, you get a specific recommendation to bring to your next appointment.

Can I use my HSA or FSA?

Yes. This is preventive health testing for a dependent, which qualifies under most HSA and FSA plans. We give you an itemized receipt.
